CrewFacilities and 6 Other Austin Businesses Raise Nearly $60m in Deals

Austin, TX., January 29, 2019—CrewFacilities and six other Austin, TX companies raised approximately $60 million in various deals within a single week in December, 2018. These deals provide important information about the likely trends on who will soon be hiring additional employees or expanding their operations.

CrewFacilities.com LLC secured a contract from the U.S. Veterans Affairs Department Great Lakes Health Care system. The contract is worth $111,800. Under this contract, CrewFacilities will provide overnight lodging facilities for Veteran Affairs beneficiaries in Danville, Ill. CrewFacilities.com has made a name for itself as the go-to logistics company for government agencies and private companies that want to streamline and reduce the costs associated with employee lodging. The company is on record to have leased, managed, booked and rented hundreds of thousands of hotel, rental and workforce accommodation products spread across the U.S., Canada and Mexico. It is hard to imagine that a company that was only founded in 2015 could have notched such milestones in such a short span of time.

Another noticeable company on the list of six companies is Aceable Inc. The company announced that it had garnered $47 million in a Series B fundraising round that was led by Sageview Capital. Aceable employs just 100 people but it has been able to reach approximately 550,000 students through its online education products. Blake Garrett is the CEO of this company that was founded in 2012.

The other companies on the list published by bizjournals.com are SourceDay Inc., FlexFleet Inc., Enzyme Health, Amgine Technologies Inc. and Shelfbucks Inc. The second week of December saw six companies based in Austin obtaining funding to the tune of $72.9 million.
